The DORVETTI Standard is a set of principles, not a certification. Where a principle is already applied, we say so. Where it is still being put in place, we say that too.
Selection
A piece is only offered once we have reviewed its design, its materials and the documentation that supports its description. Pieces that do not pass that review are not offered.
Material transparency
We name metals precisely: sterling silver, a specific gold fineness, platinum, or plated metal described as such. We never describe plated or gold-filled metal as solid gold.
Stone disclosure
Every stone is identified for what it is: natural diamond, laboratory-grown diamond, moissanite or another gemstone. Known treatments are disclosed. Terms such as "natural", "untreated" or "certified" are only used when documentation for that specific piece supports them.
Construction and finishing
We look at how stones are held, how clasps close, how edges are finished and how a piece sits on the body. Our criteria are described in Craftsmanship & Quality.
Product information
Each product page will show the information we can stand behind, including the manufacturer and safety information required in the European Union. If something is not known, it is not written.
Packaging
The DORVETTI presentation is in development. We will describe it when it exists, not before.

Questions are answered personally. Our care guide and client services explain how to look after a piece and how to reach us.
Continuous verification
Standards are only meaningful if they are checked. We review product information whenever we learn something new about a piece or a material, and we correct it openly.
